School Health in Mukono District

Sample content. School names, figures and stories on this page are illustrative while we confirm them with partner schools and obtain consent.

Mukono extends the model east of Kampala, where peri-urban and lakeside schools face a different mix of challenges: crowded classrooms, seasonal water shortages, and long referral distances for eye care.

Three of our five partner schools are in Mukono, including our newest partnerships. The district hosts our first fully digital health-day logs and is the pilot for the Follow One School termly reporting you can read on this site.
